Brootal Sun

We made good time to Tucson for the Brootal Sun Fest hosted by the coolest DIY punk-rocker in the stratosphere...

LOW GUN Green!

It's always fun to play Logan's shows in Tucson because everyone loves and supports the DIY music scene. Tucson itself seems to be a hub of arts and music and we are always well-received even though we aren't as punk rock as the other bands ;)

Right now I'm taking a turn at the merch table while several bands have already played to a bustling crowd of music enthusiasts. All together the Brootal Sun Fest will host over 50 bands over the next 3 days. Quite a large undertaking for one DIY punk rock kid to pull off. I can only imagine the amount of planning that goes into something like this. It's really inspiring to see all these kids working together to make this happen.

I relate it to the planning of theNew American Dream Tour except that...
Instead of juggling 50 bands, we're juggling 50 different venues...
Tomorrow we head off to the third state on the tour, New Mexico where we'll be rockin the grand opening of the "Yum Bunny" in Las Cruces!!
Goodnight moons!
